Coach Mary

Mary has 20+ years experience within the fitness and health industry, from management and consulting, personal training and group fitness, to now owning and operating a gym. During these past 5 years, Mary has curated a team of professional certified trainers to lead sustainable fitness programs for our community!  She is a mom before anything else with highly active kids in competitive sport and activities, but she is also a daughter, wife and friend before a gym owner. She created an environment that welcomes clients of all levels and approaches fitness in a way that will not only improve one’s physical abilities but mentally and emotionally too.  She believes that not one program fits all and that enjoyable fitness and improved wellness is why we have a thriving gym community. In her years’ experience she has worked with individuals facing and recovering from full hip and knee surgery, clients living with diabetes, body dysmorphia, bulging disc, abdominal and gluteal tears, chronic knee and back pain, post physio MVA clients, endometriosis and pregnant mamas. Mary is a loud extrovert and out of the box when at the gym, but in her off time she enjoys some alone time and being with her family most. She believes coffee is mandatory and she loves running for mental clarity and lifting weights to maintain internal strength and resiliency.

Coach Matt

Matt was always an active kid growing up, always playing outside with friends, riding bikes, playing sports, or just doing something simple like throwing a frisbee around. He has been weightlifting since high school where he won the fitness award each year, and he’s been weight lifting for over 8 years. His interest in training led him to enrol in the 2-year fitness and health program in college and he’s been career training 1:1 with clients for 2 years now. While Matt loves to strength train when he’s working out, he also enjoys sports agility training and has experience doing this with some of his current clients along with gearing some clients up for career driven fitness testing.  Matt is a soft spoken, driven trainer that has experience with chronic back and knee pain individuals, herniated discs, those with diabetes and hip replacements. Outside of the gym you can find Matt at all the rock concerts with his family and friends. He also likes to write and play music.

Coach Julia

Julia is a beast when it comes to her training. Give her some heavy weights or a run, a long, long run. Julia’s passion for training started when she realized the positive mental effects weight training had on her life and wellbeing.  Julia has worked as a coach for 3 years with clients ranging from the elder population, those that are wanting to run, and many individuals that are wanting to pursue a healthier lifestyle.  Julia is the type of coach that has the hype woman personality, making you feel accomplished and strong after your workouts!  Julia loves to weight lift with intent and run like crazy. She has completed multiple marathons and even a few ultramarathons. Her determination greatly benefits her clients, their programming and care. In her spare time outside of the gym you can find Julia using her passion for photography and spending time with her family and loved ones.

Coach Raina

Raina has always been active and consistently challenging herself. Since she was 20 she was off and on working out at gyms, participating in boot camps and other fitness classes. She has consistently exercised for 7 years now and has been working as a certified coach for 3 years. Raina has had experienced working with clients during and coming back from injuries and those dealing with scoliosis. She is loud and has no filter along with a heart of gold, but don’t hug her! Raina will be the one to make you think WTF when it comes to your workouts but you’ll always leave feeling accomplished. Raina is a die-hard foodie, burgers especially. When she isn’t at work or working out, she can be found watching documentaries, reading a book, or cooking up a storm. Whatever Raina does she gives it 100% every single time.

Coach ADAM

Adam’s primary goal towards his personal fitness has always been to make his daily life as manageable as possible. He noticed that exercise helped him to be a high-energy husband and father. His experience and education for fitness is ongoing over his past 4 years as a coach. He loves to learn about new fitness topics, specifically ones that relate best for his client’s programming.  Adam has worked with clients who experience chronic back pain, those recovering from knee injuries and those wanting athletic styled training. When it comes to mobility and understanding body mechanics, Adam gets it!  His approach to personal training for his clients is to target potential benefits for life improvement while finding opportunities to build strength and stamina so you can better enjoy your active lifestyle. Adam is a loud and strong coach but outside of all the dumbbells, he loves his chocolate, and you can often find him baking a chocolate cake!  He also went to art school because he loves to draw!

Coach Juliana

Juliana brings over six years of experience as a fitness professional, blending a deep knowledge of personal training and fitness coaching with a genuine passion for helping others. Holding a bachelor’s degree in sports science and certified by the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology, she has worked internationally, including co-founding a personal training business in Colombia with her life partner, combining their shared passion for fitness. Juliana specializes in creating personalized fitness programs that prioritize strength, mobility, and overall well-being, helping clients of all levels achieve their goals while enjoying the process.  Whether she’s running, jumping, or climbing while exploring the outdoors, or practicing acrobatics through gymnastics-inspired activities like street workouts, calisthenics, and aerial skills, she finds joy in the freedom of movement.  She has experience working with clients to address chronic back and knee pain, improve posture, build strength, and rebuild body composition. Her goal is to make every session an enjoyable part of her clients’ day, guiding them toward their own motivations with care and support.

Outside the gym, Juliana enjoys spending time outdoors soaking up the sun, finding peace in quiet moments, and playing with her cats in her backyard.
